為了更好的理解人生，并且找尋自身生活的意義，導(dǎo)演及攝影師王一男在2011年開始了一段永生難忘的尋訪之旅。
　　六個月的時間，他驅(qū)車4萬公里，走遍加拿大，尋找100名受訪者，詢問他們同一組關(guān)于人生的問題。受訪人的年齡從一歲到一百歲，一個年齡一人，一百名受訪者出生于1912年到2011年的每一年里，整整橫跨一個世紀(jì)。
