西西里（松佳?里奇特 Sonja Richter 飾）和喬治姆（尼古拉?雷?卡斯 Nikolaj Lie Kaas 飾）是一對十分恩愛的情侶，即將攜手步入婚姻的殿堂。一場意外的車禍奪走了喬治姆的后半生，未來的日子里，癱瘓的他只能在床榻上度過了，而車禍的制造者，是一位名叫瑪麗（帕普麗卡?斯汀 Paprika Steen 飾）的女子。
