在一望無際的大海上有兩艘漁船，主人是一位年過花甲的老人（全成煥飾），他依靠兩艘船謀生，陸上的人們來這邊釣魚或看風(fēng)景。老人和一位少女（韓業(yè)云飾）一起生活，她是10年前老人在岸上撿到的，此后少女再?zèng)]有上過陸地。老人等著少女年滿17歲時(shí)就會(huì)與之結(jié)婚。
　　來釣魚的男人們經(jīng)常想占女 孩的便宜，老人為保護(hù)女孩不得不用利箭來警示對方。一天，和父親一起來釣魚的大學(xué)生（徐智錫飾）在船上為神秘的少女所吸引。老人覺得事情不妙，每天監(jiān)視少女并不允許她靠近大學(xué)生，而16歲的少女也逐漸對外面的事物產(chǎn)生好奇。大學(xué)生得知女孩兒將要和老人結(jié)婚，就決定帶上少女逃到陸地……

　　Jin-wook and So-ri couple have been dating for 6 years. So-ri randomly suggests that they should go on a trip along with her best friend Mi-ra and her boyfriend. It is because she promised with Mi-ra before that the four should go on a trip together once Mi-ra has a boyfriend.
　　Jin-wook does not feel comfortable with her plan because he has not been interested in So-ri’s friend at all and has not had a meal even once with the friend together so far. However, he unwillingly decides to go on the trip. As Jin-wook heard that Mi-ra and her boyfriend would prepare all of camping equipment and fishing gadgets, he really does not prepare anything. From Jin-wook’s point of view, Gyeong-hoon is nothing compared to his career as a teaching assistant, who is preparing for his master’s degree at the age of 35. Because So-ri feels sorry for not preparing anything for the trip, she helps Gyeong-hoon cooking the meal diligently, while Mi-ra, who is hypocritical often, stays inside their tent along with Jin-wook and shares her secret personal stories with him.
